Our Kids are Future Voters: Mid-Term Elections

All Congressmen (and women) and one-third of the Senators in America are up for reelection. Are your kids aware of what their parents are voting for?

My daughter turns 18 in just a few days. The whole family is excited that she will get to vote for the first time this year. When my kids were little I used to always take them to the voting booth with me. I've only ever missed one chance to vote and it was because I was moving. It was a primary too. I have never missed a Presidential or Congressional race. On November 8, all the Congressmen and one-third of the Senators in America are up for reelection. Some states have Governors and other local offices up for election. Do your kids know for whom or why are you voting? Do you know for whom or why you are voting?
