Unlock the joy of learning to read with the hilarious and lovable adventures of Mo Willems’ Elephant & Piggie books! These engaging stories capture children’s attention while helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to become stronger readers.
Watching a child discover the excitement of reading is one of the most rewarding experiences for parents and teachers. Through repeated reading, children begin to recognize words, improve fluency, strengthen comprehension, and gain the confidence to read independently.
In this self-paced Five in a Row with Elephant & Piggie course, students will explore one book at a time through fun reading activities, discussions, and lessons focused on important literacy skills.
By reading each story multiple times, students will:
* Build reading fluency and confidence
* Recognize high-frequency words and repeated phrases
* Improve comprehension skills
* Explore story elements
* Develop a deeper understanding of characters, problems, and solutions
* Grow their love of reading
Just like children can memorize every line from their favorite movies, repeated exposure to a favorite book helps young readers naturally remember words, patterns, and language.

Hello, I'm Diana! I'm a homeschooling mom of two and have taught in private, public and online settings for over 15 years. I am passionate about homeschooling and equipping parents to train their children at home. I currently teach online internationally on six continents as well as a Good News Club in the local public school, while homeschooling my two high school children alongside my husband of twenty years. We live in Central, NY and have three cats, two aquariums of fish, frogs, snails, shrimp and plants. I have a green thumb and a love for God's people, especially children.
My teaching style is laid back, loving, whimsical and fun. I believe children learn best through curiosity and play. I bring a mix of digital material and printed material to each class. My ultimate goal is to encourage children to love learning!
