Creating a Book: Drawing and Writing Irregular Plurals (Ages 4-7)

4-Lessons: Draw pictures of and write 12 common irregular plurals such as “goose/geese".

Course Summary

In this 4-week course, we will draw pictures of and write 12 common irregular plurals such as “die, dice, foot, feet, goose and geese”.

Irregular plurals can be tricky to remember. Students will learn in a fun way by listening to and creating a book with 12 common irregular plurals (3 per week). Students can enjoy interacting with each other while we create our books by sharing videos and pictures in the Outschool classroom. They are also able to take Kahoot quizzes to test knowledge and compete with other learners. By the end of class, learners will have a wonderful keepsake to refer back to and show off to their family and friends. This is a self-paced course meaning there are no live classes. Instead, 4 video lessons will be available for learners to view, pause and rewatch as needed.

Students will be encouraged to draw pictures of and write the following words:
Lesson 1:  Die / Dice  Goose / Geese Child / Children
Lesson 2:  Foot / Feet  Ox / Oxen  Mouse / Mice
Lesson 3: Man / Men Tooth / Teeth Fungus / Fungi

Elizabeth McMann

As a homeschooling mother of five, I felt led by the Lord to create an online educational platform. My style of learning didn't fit into the mold of what was out there. Not to mention, the rising prices of other educational platforms limited what classes my children could enjoy. Sifting through online classes and full curriculum that aligns with Christian values is tricky. Today, it seems most Christian curriculum is boring bookwork and/or very costly. I sought to combine everything that I value in education. Teach Me Truth provides entertaining video lessons, live online classes, online games, quizzes, worksheets, and community - all designed by independent teachers within our nonprofit platform.
