LIVE CLASS- Upper Elementary Literature by E.B. White

A 14-Week Literary Journey Through Charlotte’s Web, Stuart Little, and The Trumpet of the Swan

Course Summary

Step into the imaginative and heartwarming world of E.B. White in this 14-week live literature class designed for upper elementary learners. Together, we’ll journey through Charlotte’s Web, Stuart Little, and The Trumpet of the Swan, meeting once a week for a lively 30-minute discussion that encourages curiosity, thoughtful reading, and a love for classic literature.

Each week, learners will discuss key chapters, explore character development, identify literary elements, and make meaningful connections to the themes of friendship, courage, responsibility, and creativity found throughout E.B. White’s writing. Our live meetings are interactive yet gentle—learners are invited to share ideas, ask questions, and participate in guided conversations at their comfort level.

Outside of class, learners will complete meaningful assignments such as creative worksheets, short writing prompts, and drawing activities. These activities reinforce comprehension and help learners engage more deeply with the stories at their own pace.

By the end of the course, learners will have read all three of E.B. White’s classic books, strengthened their literature skills, and experienced the joy of exploring timeless stories that continue to inspire readers around the world.
