Meet young entrepreneurs Jerome and AJ as they turn handmade greeting cards, pens, and keychains into thriving kid-owned businesses through the YBO.
Today, we're excited to introduce two inspiring young business owners who will be joining us at upcoming events!

At just 13 years old, Jerome is already an experienced entrepreneur with a passion for creating handmade greeting cards.
Jerome started making cards for family and friends when he was only 6 years old. As more people began asking for his unique creations, he realized he could turn his hobby into a business.
Today, Jerome operates Catch My Greetings, offering both ready-made cards and custom orders. His largest order so far was an impressive 30 custom Christmas cards!
"I started making cards for family/friends birthdays when I was 6, and others started asking for cards, so I decided to start making a business for myself," Jerome shared.
Over the past year, Jerome has participated in several entrepreneur shows and continues to grow his business with every event. His creativity, attention to detail, and dedication are wonderful examples of what young entrepreneurs can accomplish when they pursue their passions.

AJ has always wanted to earn his own money, especially to help fund his camping adventures.
After discovering that he enjoys making things by hand, AJ decided to launch AJ's Creations, where he creates fun pens and keychains.
"I've been wanting to do something to make my own money for my camping trips, and I enjoy making things, so I decided to start making fun pens and keychains," AJ explained.
AJ recently completed his very first market in Flint and is excited to participate in future Young Business Owners events. Like many successful entrepreneurs, he took the first step by turning something he enjoys into something others can enjoy too.
