How It Works:
You’ll get step-by-step video instructions every lesson—pause, rewind, try again if things go sideways. You'll also get a Scientist Journal—make hypotheses, record observations, pretend you’re a real lab-coat-wearing scientist. Want a break from actually doing the experiments? No problem—you can just watch and observe. We’ll wrap up with a fun quiz to test how well your brain exploded (in a good way).
What You’ll Do (aka “Cool Stuff You’ll Try”):
Lesson 1: Dancing Raisins – Ever seen raisins boogie? Learn about buoyancy and density as raisins dance up and down your jar like they're at a disco. Lesson 2: Snow Storm – Create a snow storm inside the jar… without a blizzard outside. Chemistry makes it magical.
Lesson 3: Ocean Layers – Stack liquids like an ocean in a jar: discover the color, density, and who sinks, who floats, and who makes you say “ooh!”
Lesson 4: Salt Volcano / Jar Lava Lamp – Mix, shake, sprinkle, watch things erupt (but not dangerously). It’s part volcano, part rave party.
Lesson 5: Bonus Water Cycle!
Who This Is For?
Ages 5–10, picky about messes (we try to contain them), curious about how things work. Parents who want something educational and entertaining. Anyone who’s ever wondered, “Can I make a volcano in a jar?” Spoiler: yes, yes you can.
Why It’s Awesome!
You’ll get to feel smart. You’ll have fun. You might inspire your pet (or a sibling) to become your assistant. You’ll forever think twice about raisins and salt and what floats vs. what sinks.
